Admission Procedures

Registrar: Adonis KannehThere are two categories of admissions made at the Eastern Polytechnic;

  1. Special access
  2. Regular Admission

Special Access

Because of lack of qualified candidates for Mathematics, Science and Technology there is a special one year Access programme aimed at increasing enrolment in these areas.

Prospective candidates/students without the basic minimum entry requirements for regular enrolment into these areas are put into this programme for a year. Successful candidates are then enrolled into the actual academic programmes they wish to pursue.

Regular Admission

All direct and regular admissions into the Polytechnic are done by the Polytechnic Administration in the manner as described below;

  1. Conditions of Admission

    Application Forms
    An application form is usually obtained from the Website or the Secretariat for a fee. The completed form is returned to the registry on or before 31st July each year.

    Admission Forms
    All successful applicants are informed through a letter of offer sent to them immediately after the selection exercise is over.

  2. Registration.

    Successful applicants are expected to register on the date indicated in the letter of offer sent to them. Registration Forms are obtained from the Website or the Registry.
