In its bid to expand, Eastern Polytechnic has launched a number of new projects including:
- The Construction of an ultra-modern three storey Library.
- The Medical laboratory Technology Programme
- The Eastern Polytechnic School of Nursing.
- A 150 Acre - mechanical rice cultivation project (up-land).
- Internet Connectivity
- Excellent Restaurant and Bar Service in various parts of the Kenema Campus.
- Reconstruction of the Bunumbu Campus of the Eastern Polytechnic for the College of Education and Agriculture.
